What you'll do

• Study work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications
• interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances
• program, set up, and operate CNC machines using G-code or conversational programming
• install and adjust tools and fixtures
• load raw material and verify settings and first-run parts
• monitor machining operations and measure parts
• troubleshoot and make program or tooling adjustments
• and perform preventive maintenance and report repairs.
