Machine Assistant — 1st Shift

The Machine Assistant role is onsite in Jackson, MI, on the first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. Opus Packaging produces corrugated and chip packaging products for customers. The role supports production by assisting with machine setup and runs, plant data entry, handwork, and assembly assignments while following safety procedures and helping produce packaging products to customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Assist with machine setup and runs, plant data entry, handwork, or assembly assignments
• read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures
• work safely
• stand and perform physical tasks during an eight-hour shift
• lift 10–20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
