The role supports System One’s client work with the Virtual Design & Data Solutions team in the Power Providers Market Sector, focused on Advanced Power Generation projects. The designer develops and validates engineering drawings and technical deliverables for electrical infrastructure. The work supports multidisciplinary project delivery through design development, calculations, coordination, schedule support, and adherence to applicable codes and standards.

What you'll do

• Develop and modify engineering drawings and technical deliverables using CAD/BIM tools
• apply electrical engineering principles
• use Bentley MicroStation and other Bentley applications
• review design inputs
• perform design calculations, material takeoffs, and quantity estimates
• coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• provide technical guidance as needed
• validate deliverables
• support schedules and field activities when required.
