The director leads daily nursing and clinical operations, overseeing staffing, staff development, quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance. This work supports safe, consistent patient care and the effective operation of the surgical setting.

What you'll do

• Direct and supervise staff and oversee staffing and scheduling
• manage orientation, training, competencies, and employee development
• monitor complaints, incidents, and quality improvement
• maintain CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory compliance
• oversee infection prevention, life safety, and radiation safety programs
• ensure required quality, safety, infection control, and regulatory reports and records are completed
• promote collaboration among staff and physicians
• participate in relevant meetings.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of clinical experience, or equivalent education and experience, plus current BLS and ACLS certifications. Infection Preventionist certification and surgery center experience are preferred.
