Material Handler Leader

The Material Handler Leader role is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is $23 per hour, with 40 hours per week guaranteed and a $2,000 retention bonus after 90 days of continuous employment. The role supports Interglass’s logistics team and warehouse operations. This position coordinates warehouse workflows during assigned shifts while performing material handler duties. It distributes daily tasks, supports training and safe practices, and helps maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory processes; it does not have supervisory or disciplinary authority.

What you'll do

• Coordinate daily warehouse tasks across receiving, order pulling, loading and unloading, customer pickups, staging, and yard operations
• train and support new hires
• perform opening and closing checks
• verify shipping documents, order accuracy, and ERP entries
• inspect incoming products and report damage
• lead shift huddles and safety talks
• handle and stage materials, cut glass or aluminum extrusions to specifications, and operate yard equipment when trained and authorized.
