The Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, Fertility Care is an onsite, part-time role in Fairfax, VA, scheduled Monday–Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with one or two holidays per year. Pay is $20–$23 per hour, commensurate with experience. The role joins Shady Grove Fertility, part of US Fertility’s network of physician-led fertility practices. The position supports fertility patients and clinical teams through phlebotomy, general clinical assistance, specimen handling, and patient education. It contributes to compassionate, coordinated care and the clinic’s patient experience.

What you'll do

• Perform high-volume phlebotomy and maintain blood-drawing station supplies
• assist with fertility patient care
• send lab specimens to the appropriate laboratories
• counsel patients and couples, teach procedures, and communicate physician orders and instructions
• provide pre- and post-operative education
• perform semen washes and set up for IUIs
• take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
• enter lab information and print labels
• provide emotional and psychological support
• promote customer service.
