Medical Assistant — Behavioral Health and Addiction Care

What you'll do

• Collect urine, saliva, blood, and breathalyzer specimens
• follow chain-of-custody procedures
• instruct patients on collections
• perform phlebotomy, pregnancy tests, and EKGs within scope
• escort patients, collect vitals and history updates, and complete screenings
• maintain supplies and inventory
• update EHR records
• assist with prior authorizations
• answer phones and support medical staff
• protect patient privacy and maintain a safe, compliant environment.
