Hospice Aide

The Hospice Aide is an onsite, full-time role in Danbury, CT. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Provide assigned personal care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shampooing, dressing, and feeding assistance
• assist with ambulation, exercise, transfers, positioning, and range of motion as directed
• observe skin and report pain, symptoms, or condition changes to the RN Case Manager
• document care
• assist with light homemaking and respite when appropriate
• follow safety, confidentiality, and reporting procedures.

Why this role

Requires completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training, Nursing Assistant Certified status, current healthcare provider CPR certification, a current food handlers permit, and a high school diploma or GED. Prior hospice, home health, or related care experience is preferred.
