The bookkeeper maintains payroll, tax, reconciliation, compliance, and general-ledger processes that support accurate financial reporting and business operations. The role also tracks regulatory licenses and permits and provides sales-commission calculations to sales leadership.

What you'll do

• Verify HR-reported work hours, reconcile timesheets, and resolve discrepancies
• submit approved hours to the payroll company on scheduled pay cycles
• prepare and file sales tax returns
• perform monthly bank reconciliations and clear outstanding items
• maintain and track FDA, DOT, and OSHA licenses and permits, including renewals, filings, and audits
• manage the general ledger and produce monthly profit and loss statements
• calculate sales commissions and communicate results to sales leadership.
