What you'll do
- Obtain patient vitals and client history
- safely restrain animals
- perform venipuncture and laboratory testing
- assist with radiology, catheters, medication administration, and CPR procedures
- clean, pack, and sterilize surgical instruments
- assist in surgery
- maintain medical records and controlled-drug logs
- review discharge instructions
- handle client calls and appointment scheduling
- care for pre- and post-operative patients
- maintain hospital cleanliness.
