The Resident Care Assistant role is onsite in Chelsea, MA, with a full-time schedule of 32 hours per week from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; PRN positions are also available. Pay is $19–$21 per hour, based on experience. The role supports resident care at Cohen Florence Estates. The assistant provides direct routine care under licensed nurses’ direction, helping residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and safety. The role also contributes to resident well-being by monitoring and reporting changes and supporting mobility and engagement.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• monitor and record vital signs and intake/output
• report changes in physical or mental condition to nursing staff
• provide basic care, repositioning, transfers, and mobility assistance
• support meaningful daily activities
• follow infection-control protocols, respond to call lights, and maintain resident comfort and safety.
