What you'll do

• Supervise social work services and department staff
• counsel residents, families, and staff
• provide in-service training
• schedule, supervise, and evaluate social work assistants and clerical staff
• recommend policies and procedures
• support hiring and discharge decisions with administrator approval
• develop resident-rights policies
• coordinate social work participation in interdisciplinary care-plan conferences
• manage grievances and concerns
• make community-service referrals as appropriate.
