What you'll do

• Evaluate patients’ need for speech therapy and develop appropriate treatment plans
• provide care based on physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards
• instruct family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in speech therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• serve patients with needs including aphasia, dysphagia, pediatrics, cognitive communication disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication.
