The Athletic Director – Part-Time, Full-Time Pathway role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Davis Chicago is preparing to open a college-preparatory high school in fall 2027 and is building its founding athletics program. Reporting to the Principal, the Athletic Director establishes and administers the school’s interscholastic athletics program, including compliance, safety, coaches, schedules, budget, and culture. The role builds the policies, procedures, partnerships, and traditions needed to support the program as the school and enrollment grow.

What you'll do

• Administer IHSA eligibility, records, entries, deadlines, and coach credentials
• maintain emergency action plans and concussion protocols with the certified Athletic Trainer
• coordinate transportation and off-site logistics
• recruit, onboard, mentor, and evaluate coaches
• build contest and practice schedules
• manage the athletics budget, equipment, and uniforms
• communicate schedules and eligibility rules to families
• represent athletics with IHSA, conference partners, and the community.
