What you'll do

• Direct nursing assistants’ day-to-day functions and provide shift leadership
• complete admission, transfer, and discharge records
• receive and transcribe physician orders
• document nursing care and resident responses
• complete incident reports
• administer ordered medications
• coordinate with facility departments and participate in physician rounds as needed
• provide professional nursing services including catheterization, tube feedings, suction, dressing changes, colostomy and drainage-bag care, blood draws, and IV/site care as needed
• monitor staff safety practices and maintain resident confidentiality.
