Registered Vascular Technologist – Vein

The Registered Vascular Technologist – Vein role is onsite in Des Plaines, IL; compensation is negotiable based on experience. Beyond Podiatry’s vascular department supports patients with vein conditions as part of its podiatric practices. The technologist performs lower-extremity vascular ultrasound examinations and supports physicians in evaluating patients and planning safe, effective treatment. Accurate documentation, equipment readiness, and coordination with clinic staff help maintain patient safety and efficient care.

What you'll do

• Evaluate patients before ultrasound examinations
• complete required forms under IAC written protocols
• maintain scan maps and forms in the software system
• perform ultrasound examinations to create venous flow maps
• perform additional scans as directed by the physician
• assist providers during procedures and image-guided injection sessions
• support trainee ultrasound training
• maintain equipment and supplies
• clean the ultrasound room
• and coordinate schedules and clinic coverage with operations staff.
