The Senior HVAC Service Technician role is onsite in Abingdon, VA, serving homeowners in Chilhowie and the surrounding Southwest Virginia area. Pay is $27–$36 per hour. Complete Comfort is a family-owned HVAC, electrical, and generator company serving communities throughout Southwest Virginia. The technician diagnoses, maintains, and repairs residential HVAC equipment, explains findings to homeowners, and completes quality work safely and efficiently. The role also provides technical assistance to less-experienced technicians when appropriate and supports dependable local service.
What you'll do
- Service and repair residential HVAC equipment
- diagnose air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless systems
- troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and performance issues
- perform maintenance and preventative service
- identify equipment failures and recommend solutions
- explain findings and repair recommendations to homeowners
- complete repairs to company quality standards
- maintain accurate service records
- follow safety procedures and HVAC best practices
- provide technical assistance to less-experienced technicians when appropriate.
