What you'll do

• Perform patient care duties including vital signs, rooming, assisting providers, and special departmental tasks.
• Handle check-in/out, virtual rooming, vaccine administration, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.
• Manage clinic preparation, stocking, medication, and supply ordering.
• Handle patient phone calls, prescription refills, and clinic support operations.
• Serve as a liaison between provider, patient, and staff.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent AND a certificate of completion or official transcript from a medical assisting program, or completion of medical assistant training by a licensed physician or podiatrist, or certification as a medical assistant through a Medical Board of California-approved organization

Experience

At least one year of overall experience
