Compensation is $0 per year. The IT Projects Engineer role is hybrid in Chesapeake, VA; The engineer joins Charles IT’s Projects Team, which delivers technical project work and client outcomes. The role leads hands-on client technology projects from kickoff through post-launch support, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Its purpose is to implement solutions aligned with project scope and business needs while improving client environments and maintaining clear project documentation.

What you'll do

• Lead and execute client technical projects from kickoff through post-go-live support
• align scope, timelines, expectations, and risks
• complete tasks in client Statements of Work
• stabilize and optimize client environments after go-live
• collaborate with vendors and co-managed teams
• document systems, tools, and processes
• communicate project changes, outages, and impacts
• record time, expenses, and work notes in ConnectWise
• send weekly client status updates and participate in check-ins
• contribute to project debriefs and continuous improvement.
