What you'll do

• Assists the OR team in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies.
• Understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon.
• Carries out tasks including sponging, suctioning, cutting suture, holding retractors, and manipulating the endoscopic camera when in the second scrub role.
• Must have experience with open heart surgery and be competent in robotic, total joints, neuro/spine, burn, and vascular surgery specialty areas.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)

Experience

Two years prior experience in a similar size facility with similar services provided
