What you'll do

• Operate a remote-controlled overhead crane
• move steel plates, shipments, and work orders using hooks, slings, and electromagnets
• inspect load hookups and determine load safety
• control crane speed and direction according to instructions
• clean and maintain the crane and hoisting mechanism
• inspect for defects and report malfunctions
• communicate with Burn Table operators, Final Inspection Technicians, and other departments
• ensure parts are pulled from the table before moving to final inspection.
