The CNC Swiss Operator III — First Shift role is onsite in Franklin, MA, with compensation of $27.33–$31.00 per hour. The position supports Tegra Medical’s CNC Swiss Machining department, which contributes to the company’s medical-device manufacturing work. The operator sets up and runs CNC Swiss and other machining equipment to produce small-diameter, close-tolerance parts. The role also supports department throughput and technical development through production and prototype support, process improvement, coordination with support groups, and development of department personnel.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes, CNC lathes, milling machines, and secondary equipment
• machine small-diameter, close-tolerance parts according to procedures and instructions
• perform CNC Swiss setup operator tasks
• coordinate with engineering, quality, and materials support groups
• maintain scheduling and shop-floor boards
• provide direction in the Swiss Lead’s absence
• assist with prove-outs and process improvements
• and support development of apprentices and operators.
