Production Utility Operator — 2nd Shift

Production Utility Operator is an onsite role in Clarence, NY, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 2:15 p.m. to 12:45 a.m. The stated pay is $24–$28 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Seal & Design manufactures gaskets, seals, molded rubber and plastics, die-cut foams, and related products for multiple industries. The operator runs production machinery, follows job specifications, records production information, and checks product quality. Cross-training across machinery and processes helps provide operational coverage while the operator supports safe, efficient production and quality targets.

What you'll do

• Operate production machinery safely
• adapt to changing assignments and production needs
• follow job-card specifications
• record job times, material usage, and production data
• conduct first-piece and in-process inspections
• report quality concerns and pause production when needed
• perform routine preventive maintenance
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• meet productivity and quality targets
• cross-train on applicable machinery and processes.
