Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic role is an onsite, full-time position at PMG’s manufacturing facility in Romulus, MI. Pay is $26–$30 per hour. The mechanic supports production and rental equipment operations at a company that manufactures and distributes pavement-maintenance materials. The role exists to keep production, rental, and facility equipment safe and reliable. By diagnosing failures, completing preventive maintenance, and responding to breakdowns, the mechanic helps reduce downtime and keep operations moving.

What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures
• perform preventive maintenance on mixers, pumps, motors, bearings, belts, seals, tanks, and related equipment
• troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• repair electrical components
• weld, cut, and perform basic metal fabrication
• respond to production breakdowns
• maintain repair records
• and support facility repairs.
