What you'll do

• Prepare and inspect the ambulance patient compartment and equipment
• respond to dispatcher calls
• provide care under applicable New York State and regional protocols
• monitor patients and document changes during transport
• transport patients by stretcher and accompany them to the receiving location
• complete patient care records and company paperwork
• maintain equipment readiness
• cooperate with state inspections
• and, for paramedics, maintain ALS supplies and provide ALS care under applicable protocols.
