Complex Project Manager — Electric Transmission

The Complex Project Manager — Electric Transmission role is onsite five days per week at a client site in Columbus, OH. The expected base salary is $60.00–$75.00 per hour. The position is for an eight-month duration and supports complex electric transmission projects for CTG’s client. The manager leads end-to-end project delivery across transmission infrastructure work, coordinating technical and business stakeholders to meet schedules, budgets, quality standards, and compliance requirements. The work contributes to grid reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.

What you'll do

• Lead electric transmission projects involving substations, transmission lines, grid reliability, outage coordination, and asset modernization
• manage scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
• coordinate engineering, planning, field operations, protection and controls, compliance, and IT teams
• support asset management, facility ratings, outage planning, inspection programs, and system data quality
• oversee vendors, resources, governance, change control, and executive communications
• monitor progress and communicate risks, decisions, and escalations.

Why this role
