Pre-Op/PACU Nurse

What you'll do

• Conduct pre-operative assessments
• start and manage IVs
• verify consents and prepare patients for surgery
• educate patients and families
• monitor patients in the PACU after anesthesia
• manage vital signs, airway, pain, and nausea
• administer ordered medications and treatments
• confirm recovery criteria before discharge
• and collaborate with surgical staff while following safety and infection-control standards.
