Government Cost Accountant

Through EAC analysis, cost-pool management, audit support, and coordination with program, contracts, finance, and operations teams, the role helps maintain reliable contract financial information and controls.

What you'll do

• Prepare and analyze monthly Estimate-at-Completion reviews
• support program reviews
• maintain compliance with CAS, FAR, and DFARS requirements
• support DCAA audits, incurred cost submissions, and disclosure statements
• develop indirect rates and allocate cost pools
• reconcile contract cost data between ERP/MRP systems and the general ledger
• support proposal cost volumes and forward pricing rate proposals
• monitor funding and cost-overrun risks
• support ASC 606 revenue recognition, internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness.
