Building Maintenance Assistant

The Building Maintenance Assistant is an onsite role in Salt Lake City, UT, with starting pay of $19.00–$21.00 per hour; experienced candidates may qualify for a higher wage. Availability is required Monday through Friday, weekends, and holidays, with morning or evening shifts and two to three shifts per week. The role supports the upkeep of Courtyard Salt Lake City Downtown. The assistant responds to maintenance requests and performs preventive upkeep to help keep guest rooms, grounds, and shared property areas safe and in good condition. The work supports guest service and the property’s overall operation by addressing maintenance needs and concerns promptly.

What you'll do

• Perform guest-room preventive maintenance, including painting, battery replacement, smoke-detector checks, and HVAC cleaning
• maintain grounds, landscaping, outbuildings, and parking areas
• assist with pool, spa, and general-area upkeep according to local codes and brand standards
• respond promptly to guest problems and concerns.
