The Director of Housekeeping role is onsite in Spokane, WA, with compensation of $26–$30 per hour. The position leads Emerson Health & Rehabilitation’s Environmental Services team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment for residents and staff. The role exists to oversee daily housekeeping operations and support resident satisfaction through staff leadership, scheduling, budget and supply management, cleanliness and sanitation standards, regulatory compliance, inspections, and coordination with facility departments.

What you'll do

• Supervise, train, and manage housekeeping employees
• develop schedules and assign daily work
• monitor departmental spending, supply inventory, and PAR levels
• maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces
• ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection prevention protocols, and facility policies
• conduct inspections and implement corrective actions
• collaborate with administration, nursing, maintenance, and other departments.
