Appliance Service Technician

Job overview

The Appliance Service Technician role is onsite in Waipahu, HI, with pay of $22–$30 per hour and eligibility for productivity-based bonuses. Pacific Appliance Group’s stated purpose is making life easier by doing appliances better, and the technician works with its Service Manager and Operations Team. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains household appliances while following service processes, documenting work, managing parts and tools, and communicating clearly to deliver reliable repairs and positive customer experiences.

What you'll do

• Diagnose appliances and complete repairs correctly
• communicate diagnoses and resolutions to customers
• complete and submit service documentation daily
• follow service and parts-ordering processes
• maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and parts inventory
• improve technical skills across major appliance brands
• meet first-time completion, on-time arrival, customer satisfaction, paperwork, inventory, training, and safety standards.

Why this role

The schedule is five days per week between Monday and Saturday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with scheduling subject to customer needs. A two-week factory training trip to the mainland is required; two or more years of appliance repair experience is preferred.
