School Nurse

The School Nurse role is onsite at schools within the Lansing School District in Lansing, MI, and works five days per week. What you'll do

• Provide routine health care, case management, and emergency care
• develop emergency and medical care plans
• coordinate communicable disease reporting and prevention
• train staff and coordinate Medical Response Teams
• oversee AED and medication programs
• monitor immunization requirements and screening follow-up
• provide skilled nursing assessment and care
• support families’ access to community health resources
• participate in student planning and IEP meetings
• oversee assigned medical assistants.

Why this role
