What you'll do

  • Direct student behavior and activities toward academic and social-emotional goals
  • create a supportive learning environment
  • provide science instruction to individuals and groups
  • develop instructional plans and materials
  • maintain student progress and daily records
  • communicate with parents or guardians bi-weekly
  • attend meetings and training
  • guide an assigned Teacher’s Aide
  • supervise students during transitions and lunch when needed
  • prepare reports for CSE meetings
  • maintain valid New York State certification and required training.
