What you'll do

• Maintain echocardiography services in accordance with American Society of Echocardiography and applicable state and federal standards
• support daily technical operation of the laboratory
• perform physician-ordered echo exams, prioritizing trauma and critically ill patients
• select ultrasound techniques for optimal image quality
• position and instruct patients
• back up studies and copy them to disc as needed
• maintain equipment, supplies, records, documents, and statistics
• participate in professional education programs and cardiology department meetings
• follow hospital and department policies.
