What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including catheter placement, medication administration, feeding tube placement, and monitoring
• prepare, monitor, and recover surgical patients
• assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• perform laboratory diagnostics
• operate diagnostic equipment
• prepare and administer prescribed medications and vaccines
• maintain controlled-drug logs and medical records
• educate clients
• maintain clean and stocked treatment areas
• monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
