Value Stream Supervisor – Fabrication and Welding

Job overview

The Value Stream Supervisor – Fabrication and Welding role is onsite in Sherrill, NY, with an expected base salary of $70,000–$90,000 per year. Briggs & Stratton designs and delivers engines, batteries, generators, energy storage systems, and turf-care equipment. The supervisor leads production teams and coordinates schedules, staffing, and resources to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. The role stabilizes production processes, develops employees, and drives measurable improvements across fabrication and welding operations.

What you'll do

• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop employees
• set expectations and manage performance and budgets
• identify production risks and implement responses
• align schedules, testing, and staffing with demand
• coordinate across departments and shifts
• maximize use of labor, equipment, tooling, and facilities
• partner with engineering on process and equipment changes
• lead continuous-improvement and cost-reduction projects
• inspect materials and finished goods to standards.
