The Director of Retail Talent Development role is onsite at the Workforce Development Center in Pittsburgh, PA. The external hiring range is $80,000–$85,000 per year. Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia funds job training, education, and community programs through donated-goods retail operations. The director leads the retail division’s learning and talent development strategy, establishes training standards, and supervises field-based talent development staff. The role builds leadership and frontline skills and measures training effectiveness to support consistent store execution, performance, and retention.

• Partner with retail and People Services leaders to identify capability gaps
• develop the retail talent development roadmap
• oversee training execution
• build scalable learning content
• standardize production and sales-floor training
• design leadership development programs
• identify and develop high-potential talent
• oversee field training and coaching
• supervise talent development staff
• monitor LMS use and learning KPIs
• support hiring, onboarding, and store performance.
