Metrology Technician / LCM Quality Engineer

The Metrology Technician / LCM Quality Engineer works onsite in Irving, TX. Compensation is $49.24–$53.00 per hour. The role supports medical-device and component measurement and inspection work. The position performs dimensional inspections, develops inspection programs, and interprets measurement data to help engineers address measurement requirements and troubleshoot issues. Its work supports quality engineering and new product development processes.

What you'll do

• Perform dimensional inspections of medical devices and components using contact and non-contact metrology equipment
• collaborate with engineers on measurement requirements and inspection techniques
• interpret blueprints and GD&T
• develop and execute OGP SmartScope inspection programs
• collect dimensional data using optical comparators, digital microscopes, white-light scanners, hand gauges, and other equipment
• analyze measurement data and recommend practical solutions
• handle biohazardous materials according to established safety procedures as required
• perform additional metrology and laboratory support duties as assigned.
