What you'll do

• Evaluate patients and develop speech-language plans of care for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing in collaboration with physicians
• implement treatment plans and select activities to progress patients toward goals
• revise goals and plans with patient or family input
• provide patient and family education
• provide discharge instructions, follow-up, and referrals as appropriate
• document evaluations, plans, treatment sessions, and required education and discharge information
• maintain confidentiality and follow infection-prevention precautions.
