Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)

The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) role is an onsite, full-time position in San Antonio, TX, paying $20–$25 per hour. Superior Mobile Health’s team delivers prehospital care and safe, timely patient transport. The AEMT provides emergency and non-emergency response care within the AEMT scope of practice, supporting patient safety and continuity of care through assessment, treatment, monitoring, transport, and coordination with care partners.

What you'll do

• Provide emergency assessment, treatment, and patient care within the AEMT scope of practice
• respond to emergency and non-emergency calls and safely operate ambulances
• assess patients, prioritize interventions, and adapt care to changing conditions
• package, transport, and monitor patients
• use emergency medical equipment
• coordinate with EMTs, Paramedics, dispatch, and receiving facilities
• complete electronic patient care reports
• maintain ambulance cleanliness, equipment readiness, and inventory
• follow company policies, protocols, and safety standards.

Why this role

Texas Advanced EMT certification, BLS certification, and a valid Texas driver’s license are required. Previous EMT-B experience is required; AEMT experience and ACLS are preferred but not required. Scheduling includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended shifts.
