Lead Preschool Teacher

The Lead Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Frisco, CO. Compensation is $25–$28 per hour. Summit County Preschool provides an early childhood learning environment for young children and supports their growth through play, routines, and positive guidance. The teacher leads a classroom of 3- and 4-year-olds, plans developmentally appropriate weekly activities, observes and assesses children’s development, and builds relationships with families and coworkers. The schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays off and an additional weekday off.

What you'll do

• Lead a classroom of 3- and 4-year-old children
• create weekly lesson plans and developmentally appropriate circle times, art, and science projects
• observe and assess children using Teaching Strategies
• build relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• support learning through play, routine, and positive guidance.
