What you'll do

• Inspect equipment and components
• disassemble motors and document winding data
• repair or modify cores
• size and wind coils
• insert, wedge, and tie wire
• use tools and machinery for repair
• perform and document electrical and mechanical tests
• dip and bake windings
• clean varnish from components
• coordinate work priorities with leadership
• maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area
• ensure products meet production, quality, and technical specifications.
