Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Job overview

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) role is onsite in Tulsa, OK, with pay of $15–$16.56 per hour. The schedule is 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., Tuesday–Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off. Palmer Addiction Recovery Services provides residential treatment services. The technician monitors consumers’ safety and well-being, supports participation in treatment activities, and helps maintain facility order. Documentation and communication with the next shift and treatment team support continuity of care and progress toward therapeutic goals.

What you'll do

• Monitor the facility and consumers during the shift
• help consumers stay on the treatment schedule
• facilitate assigned groups
• record observations and maintain shift logs
• communicate relevant information to the next shift and treatment team
• enforce facility rules
• conduct intake and discharge procedures
• complete room and bed checks as required
• support facility security and basic crisis intervention
• follow emergency procedures
• assist with meal preparation and kitchen duties as needed.
