The Dietary Cook role is onsite in Bridgeport, OH. Compensation is $14.50–$15 per hour. The cook supports the Food Services Department at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation & Care Center. The role prepares consistent, high-quality food by following menus, recipes, and work schedules, while meeting safety, sanitation, and quality-control requirements. Food tray delivery or retrieval from patient rooms may be needed for pre-identified locations.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to menus, recipes, and work schedules
• check with a supervisor about menu changes and special instructions
• follow Ohio safety, sanitation, and quality-control guidelines
• record food temperatures, taste panels, and waste
• support Food Services Department operations
• deliver or retrieve trays from patient rooms as needed.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of high-volume foodservice or high-quantity production cooking experience, and Level Two Person in Charge Food Protection Certification or completion within 90 days of hire. Culinary certification or coursework is preferred.
