What you'll do
- Provide physics services related to the planning and delivery of therapeutic radiation treatment in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription.
- Provide technical leadership including clinical set-up expertise to radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and therapists.
- Perform quality assurance checks according to regulatory requirements and industry standards for all department equipment.
- Serve as a mentor and team lead for staff medical physicists.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Masters of Science in Medical Physics, or related discipline.
- Experience
- Five years of clinical experience as a medical physicist in a radiation therapy department
