What you'll do

• Enter payroll exceptions and timekeeping data
• research discrepancies, make corrections, and document changes
• review payroll records for accuracy
• calculate and reconcile payroll
• maintain payroll archives
• validate timekeeping calculations against labor contracts, agency policy, and labor laws
• respond to payroll inquiries
• reconcile deduction reports and prepare third-party payments
• review general ledger balances
• work with IT to troubleshoot and test system updates.
