Conflicts Attorney – Fully Remote

The attorney joins the New Business Intake team at an international labor and employment law firm. The role evaluates and resolves potential conflicts involving new business, lateral hires, and requests for proposals. It supports responsible client intake by researching ethics rules, advising attorneys on resolution strategies, preparing waivers and ethical walls, and maintaining accurate conflict records and procedures.

What you'll do

• Analyze conflict reports for potential conflicts involving new business, lateral hires, and RFPs
• research jurisdictional conflict, ethics, and professional responsibility rules
• evaluate conflicts and assist attorneys with resolution strategies
• communicate findings and recommendations
• request and maintain clearance documentation
• draft conflict consents and waivers
• prepare and implement ethical walls
• assist with client guidelines and conflicts policies
• train intake analysts and administrative staff
• maintain knowledge of legal ethics and confidentiality developments
• coordinate conflicts database updates
• respond to conflicts-related inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
