The Behavior Specialist 1:1 is an onsite role based in North Ferrisburg, VT, with a pay range of $23 - $28 per hour. This position supports the Special Education department at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, contributing to a mission-driven environment focused on student success. This role exists to provide direct, individualized implementation of positive behavior intervention and support for assigned students. By tailoring approaches to unique learning needs and utilizing proactive strategies, the specialist helps students overcome behavioral challenges and achieve academic and social-emotional goals.

• Implement individual behavior interventions
• reinforce positive student behavior
• maintain accurate behavioral records
• collect and analyze behavioral data
• provide support to classroom staff
• apply applied behavior analysis principles
• conduct functional behavior assessments
• assist with instructional activities
• provide crisis intervention
• document behavioral incidents
• adhere to safety protocols
• participate in team meetings
• assist with student supervision.
