The Crisis Clinician role is onsite in Toms River, NJ, with a salary range of $45,000–$50,000 per year. The role supports Bright Harbor Healthcare’s CREST walk-in program, which provides rapid, time-limited crisis intervention for Ocean County adults experiencing mental health challenges. The clinician helps consumers stabilize, identify next steps, and connect with longer-term behavioral health care and community supports. Working with a multidisciplinary team, the role provides assessment, treatment planning, counseling, crisis response, recovery support, and practical resource connections.

What you'll do

• Complete bio-psychosocial and ongoing clinical assessments
• develop and update treatment and recovery plans with consumers
• provide direct services, crisis intervention, de-escalation, supportive counseling, and follow-up
• monitor clinical status and medication compliance
• document assessments and interventions
• coordinate with providers and community partners
• connect consumers with basic needs and resources
• facilitate groups
• provide rotating 24-hour on-call coverage.
