The Machinist — CNC and Manual Machining role is onsite in Franklin, PA, with a typical schedule of 5:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, and some Saturdays as needed. Starting pay is typically $21–$25 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the rate after 40 hours. The machinist supports Franklin Industries' manufacturing operations and equipment reliability. The machinist produces and repairs precision components, restores or modifies parts, and reverse engineers replacements to support production and maintenance. The work helps reduce equipment downtime and maintain safe, reliable operations through accurate machining, inspection, documentation, and collaboration with maintenance and production teams.

What you'll do

• Manufacture precision components using manual and CNC equipment
• machine replacement parts to tolerances and verify dimensions and quality
• repair, restore, and modify mechanical components
• reverse engineer parts when drawings are unavailable
• support equipment rebuilds and emergency repairs
• operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, saws, and related equipment
• maintain records and work documentation
• collaborate with maintenance and production teams
• participate in safety and continuous improvement activities.
